Relates the passage of time linearly in five minute intervals utilizing eleven illuminated color positions.

Originating at the top, panels one through eleven represent elapsed hours one through eleven, respectively and five minute segments five through fifty-five. Noon and midnight are indicated in the center panel (sixth) by a color reserved only for those hours. Hours are blue with 3, 6 and 9, melding into a deep violet (shown here). Minutes are always green. The time indicated is 3:30
